⚔️ Versus Tournament
Simple leaderboard-based format where participants compete in direct matchups and accumulate scores across multiple rounds or laps.
Overview
Versus tournaments are the most flexible format, perfect for leaderboard competitions where participants accumulate points across multiple rounds. Each round (or "lap") contributes to the overall score, with rankings updated after each competition.
How It Works
1. Initial Setup: Participants are added to the leaderboard with starting scores of 0.
2. Lap/Round Scoring: After each round or competition, organizers assign scores to each participant.
3. Score Accumulation: Scores from all laps are summed to calculate total score and rankings.
4. Multiple Laps: Add new laps as needed, with independent scoring that contributes to the total.
5. Final Rankings: Participants are ranked by their cumulative score across all laps.
